Northwest Slope - Revitalize an Eagle Project …08/11/2026
Activities
Thank you for joining us for the Green Snoqualmie Summer of Service! On Tuesday, August 11, 2026, from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM, join a group of community volunteers for an ecological restoration at the Silent Creek Forest.
In 2024, Ojas Herur from Snoqualmie Scout Troop 1776 worked together with the City of Snoqualmie to clear this area of invasive Armenian blackberry and plant it with drought-tolerant native shrubs and trees. The shore pine, red-flowering currant, oceanspray, and others have taken off since then. We need your help to spread in some fresh mulch and dig a few blackberry shoots that have grown back! In September, more plants (groundcovers and more shrubs) will be added to the site!
Tools, snacks, and training are provided, and all ages and abilities are welcome.
All ages OK
