Come help us keep our urban forest healthy! All are welcome!

For this event we will be working in the forest that borders Jeanne Hansen Community Park. This event will be twofold: planting and blackberry removal.

The planting will include both trees and shrubs. This will help keep the forest healthy and thriving with new growth well into the future.

The blackberry removal will be spread out around the park and is mainly a "seek and remove" operation. If you enjoy this sort of work, you will love this event!

What to Bring

Bring a water bottle and wear clothes that can get dirty, sturdy shoes, and work gloves. Work gloves will be provided for those who don’t have them.
