DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:Thank you for joining us for the Green Snoqualmie Summer of Service! On 7/19/26, from 9 AM-12 PM, we will be digging invasive blackberries that have grown up around our past plantings at Jeanne Hansen Park!

Jeanne Hansen Park is known for its shady walking trails, soccer fields, and tennis court. It's also the site of some Green Snoqualmie planting events back in 2022 that could use a little TLC! Armenian blackberry forms thickets that choke out and keep out native trees, shrubs, wildflowers, and graminoids. We will have two invasive species removal events here this summer, with one planting/mulching event when it's rainy in the fall.

This is a great way to give back to your local forests and get to know like-minded community members!
